Hi Walter & Brian - I took this subject from the forum's 'Owners Q & A' section. While that thread has drifted off the original question, I'd like to ask for a way to transfer and share a flight plan between an iFly 700 and an Android tablet. I would like to be able to stick a memory stick in one, copy a flight plan to the stick, remove the stick, put the stick in the other device, and paste the flight plan in the receiving device. Thank you for any consideration towards incorporating this feature. Jim Williams

flight plan transferability would be great. We fly a single dedicated ifly for 3 pilots who fly our aircraft, but each pilot uses the software at home on our own tablets for planning

I use my personal ipad without gps at home to setup a flight plan, (sometimes rubberbanding to created random waypoints) but use my dedicated ifly tablet in the aircraft to fly it, which requires repeating the process from scratch each time in the aircraft to recreate the plan when i have time constraints. Would love to be able to export flight plans to a flash drive one device and import to another.

Perhaps other data could be exported amd imported as well: Screen profiles, aircraft profiles, pilot profiles, retrieved wx, etc.

We actually do support importing a GPX file from a USB flashdrive. However, currently we do not support exporting a GPX file from the iPad or Android. This is on our wishlist and I'll be reiterating this next week in our development planning meeting. Potentially, an email or save to option would suffice.

We also have it on our wishlist to make the Flight Plan, Settings, Aircraft/Pilot profiles, etc part of a cloud based account feature. Basically push your Flight Plan, or Settings to your account, then pull it down to another device or as part of an update package. Stay tuned and thanks for the feedback.

Additionally, if you are using a combination of the 720, 740, iOS, Android and have a WiFi ADS-B device or other WiFi network device, you can use the Share with Local Devices under the More Options of the Flight Plan page. As mentioned in above post, this does not support the 700.
