To complicate matters even more, there's sometimes a time element. During the day in Prescott AZ, Phoenix TRACON controls IFR traffic. At night, it switches to ABQ Center.

That's pretty common. Same thing at my airport, KGVL, between Atlanta approach and Atlanta center. You would only know that by clicking on the airport information and reading the remarks. That's an example of why clicking on the nearest airport is a good way to find appropriate frequencies.
