I have just installed the anti-glare screen protector. It made a huge difference, especially with an RV-8 cockpit. No loss of touch or visibility........just lost the reflection of my shirt.

I wonder why the screen isn't just specified with that style surface, I'm sure there is a reason other than "additional dealer profit"

On my 720, I had great results with the ScreenGuardz protector that AP sells. I did quickly learn that it really helps to have a dark shirt! Just ordered 3 navy pocketed T-shirts to be my "flying shirts" for the summer!

You can see by looking at the MGL EFIS screen next to the 720 that the light was pretty challenging in this photo and how legible the 720 appears - the EFIS screen is usually fairly easy to read.

I fist purchased a 700 from a hangar neighbor. He gave me a home made sun visor and a black smop to wear. These worked OK. I traded up to the 720 and have not needed to use either. I just purchased the screen guard, but have not had a chance to try it yet. My bubble canopy Grumman will be a good test.
