Ability to name waypoints

When I select landmark-related waypoints on my flight plan, the flight plan software names them as "Waypoint 1" etc. It would sometimes be helpful to rename some of them as "Lake X", "Intersection of I-35 & I-80", etc. Does this capability exist? If, so, I have been unable to find it.
