What the heck - I know given how long it's been on the list it doesn't seem to be a priority but time for a bump -
(I) split screen of choosing, not just EFIS. E.g. map + Vertical profile and
(ii) waypoints on the vertical profile with target altitudes marked. Currently when I show the profile the descent line just goes to the ground indicating my current descent rate be nice to see the next fix actually has a planned altitude. Go load an approach, bring up the vertical profile and put in simulation to fly the flight plan. Profile just looks like you're going to fly into the ground and gives no visual indication of next waypoint.
This request goes back to when I first bought a 700 with the round red button graphics to replace my Lowrance 2000 after they pulled out of aviation. Have missed split screen ever since. My other favorite split was two maps one zoomed in around the airport with runways depicted to give big picture of what things should look like (layout wise relative to my approach direction).
It's sounded like on the cards many times but never actually shown up.
Thanks.
