I would like to put on the wish list the ability to multi task iFlyGPS with other apps. It is surprisingly useful function with other aviation apps that I have.

I agree.  I'm not sure what PHILLIPS means by " multi task iFlyGPS with other apps " but I would like it to continue to run in the background even if I'm using a different app, or have otherwise taken iFly off the active screen.  For example, I now have my iPad Mini4 next to me updating maps and such.  However, if I don't have iFly actively displayed on the screen, it doesn't appear to be updating the maps.

I'd like to be able to, for example, go through whatever information from sources other than iFly I've saved on my iPad (Approach plates, A/FD, sattelite maps of my current location, etc.) while still having iFly alert me that it's time to climb/descend/turn according to my flight plan, or there's traffic significantly close to merit a warning.

What I mean by multitasking is being able to run two apps at the same time on the screen. I wish I had more examples but the best I can think of at the moment is the Avidyne 100 app and Levil Aviation’s newest app. The applications are able to be both running and sharing the same screen. This would allow say iFlyGPS to be running and right alongside it running the Avidyne app, or running some other aviation app (or for that matter a non aviation app).

This is a quick example I am talking about:
With iPadOS, you can use Multitasking to work with two apps at the same time, answer emails while watching a video, switch apps using gestures, and more
