I'd like to be able to clear selected items from the History list. (Use case:  I've opened several departure procedures when looking for a preferred departure route prior to filing a flight plan, or I've looked at several different approach plates at candidate destination airports; now, to avoid confusion, I want to delete all the extraneous departures or approaches except for the one I intend to fly.  I don't want to clear the entire list, because there are other references (current arrival procedure, airport diagram, one alternate approach plate, etc.) that I want to keep handy and I don't want to go re-open all those to put them back into History.)

How about a small "X" in the upper-right corner of each entry, maybe? 

A swipe-to-dismiss gesture might be more modern/intuitve (akin to similar operations on smartphones).  However, I am concerned that might be too likely to cause accidental deletion of an item in turbulence when you're actually trying to open it.

Also, while we're talking History List...

When the History List gets full, the most recent item is in the lower-right corner.  I like this, because I usually want the recent stuff, and this puts those items right where my finger/stylus already is, since the "History" button on the map page is also in the lower-right corner of the display.

However, when the list is blank, it starts populating from the upper-left corner of the display.  This means that the most-recent items move around the screen until the list fills up.

I suggest the list grow in the opposite direction:  Always add the most recent item in the lower-right corner, then push older items up and to the left.

That way, the most recent stuff is always at the bottom-right, close to the History button that pulled up that list.
