I know nothing about vector charts except what I see on the iFly vector charts. They are relatively clean and simple, but not my preference for flying VFR. I prefer to "see it all." For IFR flying, which I no longer do, I would want to see all the airways, intersections, navaids, airports, etc. and have access to sids, stars, and approaches. I'm not sure there is much more depicted on a low-altitude enroute chart that I would want removed to produce a vector chart.
Regardless, don't waste your time trying to explain it for me. I'm just a customer here and I am quitting flying now that I have reached age 70. I have decided, that 53 years of flying light aircraft is enough and it's time to move on to other things.
