I agree this would be a great option. It would assist when winds are near crosswind and give a best recommendation to determine how one wants to approach the airport and setup for the downwind. Once there , final detemination with actual winds / traffic.

I like the runway extensions and use them frequently at unfamiliar airports as a good cross check for what I think I am doing. Manual on the extension preference is fine by me since it allows me to not have all runways but only the one I have selected. Maybe an indicator or some other "flag"on the suggested runway in use according to the reported winds might be helpful. But that again inot always the runway in use when winds are calm. Thanks iFly.
