So, I was flying to an unfamiliar airport a few days ago. I dutifully looked ahead a day or two before and found out where my planned FBO was located. It would be nice if, say, on the Airport Diagram, I could pre-draw some notes to myself while sitting on the couch at home and have my notes persist across restarts. (Circle the FBO's location, maybe draw some lines for how to taxi to it from the runway.) Same comment on, say, Plates. This particular ILS Plate was crammed with info, and my old eyes kept having problems finding the first altitude from the IAF. I would like to circle that too before flight and have it persist with that Plate until I clear it. (Naturally, the drawings would have to pan with the Airport Diagram and Plates. I just tried drawing with Avare. Although drawings on the chart pan with the chart, drawings on Plates/Diagrams do not.)
