demand or request? I guess you could just keep your watch set to your home time zone, and you'll always know the correct UTC. Problem is, who wears a watch anymore?

I know there are several options you can use, Maybe 2 watches, but the object is to use the device to its fullest for a need to know, as you fly along, a quick glance and, Bingo! you have it, If it is no Major endeavour to implement of course, why not.

Ciao

Noted, agree UTC should be an option. I'll give it a bump in our next dev discussion. Thanks.

To throw more confusion on the fire, my tablet is set to always show my "home" time, but my phone shows the time zone of whatever tower it's connected (or maybe it's vise-versa). So they don't always agree and when traveling I don't always know which is correct for the airport I'm about to depart. So when I file a flight plan with one of them, I always double check the "Departs in xx:xx..." field of the iFly flight plan screen to make sure I filed for the correct hour. So thanks iFly, for putting that simple cross-check in there for us.

We are adding it to the Flight Planning to show UTC and the hour difference in 9.4 . Example "UTC-5". This could be a good start to add a UTC Instrument or option to the Local Time Instrument. Stay Tuned, It's on the Wishlist.
