Okay, now I'm just getting greedy.

During a flight, it would be nice if the computer could automatically calculate the start of descent point based upon current altitude and next landing waypoint plus airplane profile. Maybe the descent point could be a "soft" waypoint

This feature could be extremely handy during an emergency situation. Perhaps it could show airports within reachable distance as a "cone of safety" as others have requested previously and assume a worst-case engine out situation.

I don't know if it would be practical to include terrain and weather considerations as that might take more horsepower than some Android units have.

I think it already does all of that.

You already have most of what you want. For waypoints or other intermeddiate points, you have to have your flight plan land at each point. Don't recall if you have to also add that particular instrument, whatever it's called.

During a long cross-country, iFly can already tell you to "start descending now?"

Yes it does, and I really like that feature. If you don't designate a fuel stop as a landing point, it yells at me with terrain alerts, so I've learned to designate that waypoint for landing.
