Request an option to have ADS Traffic display altitude in difference between me and them, to the nearest 100', erring toward worst case. (That is, if they are 370' above me, then display +300.) Two reasons: 1) It takes time to do the math in one's head when raw altitude is displayed. 2) Even tho I might plan to fly 8500', the way it is in Arizona in the summer, I tend to drift up and down 500' in block fashion. So if I see traffic at 8800', I might think "I'm okay, I'm cruising at 8500', when instead, I've drifted up. (Into the traffic.)

Never mind. I think I misunderstood the proposal. Some apps do report altitude delta instead of MSL.

Now that I discovered the Traffic Instrument, it appears it does this "delta" altitude thing already (although I haven't seen it in action.) So perhaps the code is already written to show delta altitudes for all traffic?

I beleive we do show the Alt Delta in the alert window and full details window. We show their reported altitude with the larger Traffic Radar instruments, like we do on the chart. Most of the work is done, I think so I'll put it on the Wish List.
