For flight planning purposes, it'd be nice to have the future winds/temps available in order to plan for the most favorable altitudes along the route. As an example, the government site (http://www.aviationweather.gov/windtemp) has forecasts available for 6, 12, and 24 hrs. Perhaps the data to be displayed could be keyed off the "Departure Time" on the flight plan, which would eliminate the need for additional user-selected input fields to determine which timeframe to display.

Your fingers must be burning. We are already working on a much more robust Weather feature that will incorporate much of the "Aviation Weather" images and data. It is planned for a 9.4 release at this time. I've seen the concept and it has interactive sliders and is very cool. Stay tuned.

Y'all have really come a long way since I first started using iFly. Preflight planning is about the only time I go outside the iFly app for aviation information, and it sounds like that'll end with the next big software upgrade. And then I guess the upgrade after THAT will let me do the flight planning on my big screen Windows box from my easy chair... ;-)

Yeah, I also have gone to other sources for preflight briefing. To be fair, Walter said their focus is to make iFly to be the best "in-flight app," which I think it is. 'Course, that doesn't mean they can't make the preflight briefing part better. Sounds like they are.
