Still receiving random GPS signal loss - now while using an iLevel SW - so I really tend to lean toward the software issue. iFly will go from full signal/WAAS lock and now amount of waiting will return ANY signal. A restart will sometimes - not always - return the signal. Upon restart I often receive an "esectional.exe" error - not sure what this is...?

This happened Sunday night and one issue - and a safety of flight issue depending on phase of flight - is that the unit reverts to full day brightness upon restart. Perhaps I'm missing how to adjust the setting, but is there not a way for the iFly to remember the last screen brightness setting upon restart? After an hour in pitch black, a full-bright iFlyboot up does wonders for the night vision.

Jonathan,

Can you let me know what version of software you are using. Touch Menu, About, Version and Contact and report back. The esectional.exe error looks to be fixed with 7.6.19 or better.

AS for the 720 using ADS-B GPS, the 720 would not be using the iLevil SW's GPS signal unless you are a beta tester and are testing 7.6.22 or better. We are testing this at this time and 7.6.22 will be going to Production in the next few days.

I've noted your comments on the full bright re-boot and do understand the concern. We are looking at an Auto Day/Night that should help to resolve this in the near future. Thanks for the great feedback and we hope to have a resolution soon.

Thanks for the quick reply, Shane. I will check the software next time I'm at the hangar. Interesting; I thought while connected to the iLevel, I would be using that signal. Search continues on that one I guess...

No worries,

If you don't have it now, you will within the next few days. Keep me posted. Also make sure you have 7.6.19 or better and those esectional.exe errors should be resolved. Hope this helps.

Shane,

In fact I did have the 7.6.19 version of the software and still received the esectional.exe error. I just updated to 7.6.22; I'll let you know if I have any issues with the update.
