ABOUT STARTING TO THINK NEXGEN IN IFLY. I PERSONALY THINK THE NEW GOOGLE GLASSES WOULD MAKE A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR A NEW IFLY. I HAVE LITTLE INFOS ON THE TECHNOLOGY, BUT IF POSSIBLE, THEY WOULD BE THE ULTIMATE HEAD UP DISPLAY FOR US THE SMALL FLYING FRY.HUUU! HUUM! GOOD!

I've been watching the news on Google Glasses as well. Very interesting. It still has some things to work out, but I had that same thought that it could make for a cool interface. Might be difficult to control in a plane as voice would be a challenge with the noise and touchscreen would kind of eliminate the benefit, allbeit it would make for a cool HUD for SynVis or pop up info. I'll have to keep an eye and see how they progress. I'll see what Walter's thoughts are too. Thanks for the post.

I WAS THINKING AS AN ADD-ON TO THE IFLY MAYBE WIRELESS, YOU COULD TOUCH THE SCREEN AND BINGO. IT SHOW UP ON THE GLASSES, AND MAYBE LATER ON, SYNTHETIC VISION?? OR INFRARED CAMERAS.... JUST LOOKING AHEAD.

You have to watch these guys in the research dept and what you ask for. Next thing you know they will have a regular or decaf button. The scarey thing is that it most likely will work. Every time I get to thinking they have this amazing product maxed out, bam, here comes another blockbuster item. Thanks for you Amazing product I originally purchased that I would have been happy with for the price and double thanks for all the tremendous additions over the past year after that. Simply Amazing.

Google glass is an interesting technology. But there is really no good way to interact with the app, so a touchscreen of some sort would still be needed. I see it more as a heads-up display, not a full blown navigation tool. Also price is very high...if (when) they get into low 3 digit range I see it taking off.
