This was an answer from an archived Owner Q&A today:

Still could be a connection problem.. the first os that came with the iFly would sometimes connect for a short period of time, then disconnect and cycle through previously related ssid's in an attempt to connect to them (even if they are out of range), eventually cycling back to the network you are actually trying to connect to. After staying connected again for a short period of time, it would repeat the scenario. Each time this happened during an update, the update would fail and start again.

The band-aid fix until the new os came out was to select the previously associated networks (except for the one you are currently trying to stay connected to) and "disconnect" or delete them so the iFly will stop fishing for them. Then it would remain connected to your desired ssid.

The current os version for FL11B series is 1.0.2.2, and for the FL12 series 1.0.1.15. you can find your os version from the opening menu by selecting Setup, then select the 5th button down on the left with the triangle and exclamation point."

I have an old OS on my 720. I have left messages by phone and by email that I would like to get the new OS. How do I get the new OS that will let me do Wifi updates?

Thanks.

Kim

Kim,

Give our Support Department a call and we can arrange to send out an OS update to you in the mail. The software and data updates via the Wi-Fi, however the OS update preferred is with SD card sent in the mail. Hope this helps.
