I just did an update on my 700, and now on startup right after the screen that says
"loading data and initializing moving map. Please wait."
it goes black.
Did I do something wrong?
I just updated my 700 with the new 7.0.18. It loaded and came up fine.... Did you have Vs. 7 running already? If not, you may have to update the airports and databases.
I didn't need to do that since I already have been using the various versions of 7
I had the same problem. I did a new install of all the maps, via the new iFly connect, right to the SD card. The unit now works as promised.
That's pretty much exactly how I did it. Nevertheless doing it again seems to have fixed it. Thanks!
