I just entered an 840nm flight plan with 3 fuel stops.  At the bottom where it shows totals, the total time is correct and the fuel burn is correct but the total trip mileage is about half of what it should be.  Where did it get this number?  None of the legs seem to add up to this.

If you could post a screenshot, that would be helpful.  Alternately, could you please provide some additional info?

- Are you using the production version of iFlyGPS or the beta version of iFlyEFB?
- What device are you using?
- What are the points in your Flight Plan, what is the approximate total mileage you expect to see, and what are you seeing instead?

Cobra,

Thanks...iFly 740, up to date software and charts. 17 waypoints. I added up the individual legs and came up with 846.7nm.

I added a few waypoints in the interim and now the total reads 252nm.

This is a trip from KCLW (Clearwater FL) to KMJX (Ocean County NJ) and is a combination of direct, victor airways and restricted space avoidance.

I would do a screenshot but don't know how just yet.

Thanks for any insight you can give me.

Rob

BTW...it's showing a total of 252nm now instead of 400 something nm.

I don't think there's an easy way to get a screenshot from an iFly device.  You could always take a photo of it, though.  Not so critical now, though; I was going to use the photo to figure out what software and type of device you were using, and you've told me that now.

The good news is, I found my old 720.  The bad news is, I didn't find the wall wart to power it, so I can't try to duplicate your results on that device.

I did try to build a similar flight plan on my Android tablet, and it seemed to behave as expected, so that's not so helpful in reproducing your issue:
