I too am puzzled by the lack of instructions regarding the SkyRadar hook-up. I received mine today (first group purchase) and just posted a request for help. Everything I've found so far pertains to using it with the iPad.

I too am willing to become one of the committed ones but I would like to hear from someone with real world use of the setup. Can anyone report on how this is working?

Not yet. I haven't seen anybody in the first Group Buy have their SkyRadar working yet. Maybe it's a good thing the second group buy is going slow. It will let those of us in the first group buy figure out if it's worth it or not. If not you can back out. We'll have to send our units back with a restocking fee.

UPDATE:

I finally verfied the SkyRadar works by trying the SkyRadar iPod application and getting data from the unit to dispaly on an iPod Touch. Based on this and other threads about troubleshooting the iFly/SkyRadar interface I am confident an OS update will have me up and going soon.

I called SkyRadar and talked to Alexi, the big honcho there. He said get a USB cable with a mini end on one end and the standard USB end on the other. The IFly should then recognize the signal when hooked up. I have the cable, but the IFly would not start yesterday when I went to try it. IFly is sending me a new flash disc to see if that gest the IFLY going, otherwise they will send me a new unit.
