Extended Runways

Guys,

I was wondering if our iFly 720's have the ability to show extended runways on the sectional? I was flying with a friend that has Foreflight on an iPad and it had this feature where the extended runways show up as you approach an airport.

Jim,

Yes, you can show the Extended Runways over any chart, plate or even realview. Simply touch the desired airport on the chart, then touch More options, and the Extend Runways will give you the option to show one or multiple. You can also return to that menu and hide one or all. You can also show them from the Airport Information page. I hope this helps.

This is such a useful feature, can it be somehow set to "Always" show extended runways on destination or DirectTo? Then the option when getting close could be to turn all or non-preferred off?

I disagree. We can turn them on if and when we want them which for me is never.
