I'm flying the iFly 740 (love it!) with Version 9 and am having 2 problems ... don't know if they're bugs or I've not set-up something correctly!

1. The WiFi does not stay "on" from one boot-up to the next. I'll notice I don't have ADSB info from my SkyRadar, exit iFly, and in the basic network settings for the unit it will indicate the WiFi is "OFF." If I check the "ON" box, then I can reboot iFly and everything works great. However, after shutting the unit down completely and starting again, the WiFi is "OFF" again! How do I fix this so WiFi is always "ON" like it was on my 720?

2. When ADSB is working, I'm receiving dialog boxes with traffic alerts at the bottom of the screen. How do I get it to display the small boxes with the altitudes of the traffic relative to mine on the moving map?

Thanks,

John

John, we have a new OS that may correct your 740's wifi issue. Instructions for installing that are here.

You should see traffic on the map by default. But we recently discovered a bug: All traffic will be hidden if you set the Altitude and Distance Visibility settings to their respective nearest options. Try changing these settings, your traffic should start showing up on the map. (Setup / Alerts & Warnings / Traffic Alerts / Distance Visibility & Altitude Visibility).

We're getting this fixed for our next release.

Thanks!
Walter

I did update with the latest Version 9 release recently and that seems to have fixed the WiFi problem - it's now always "ON." So, I'm guessing you'll say don't update the OS if it's working now? I DO have the traffic settings on the nearest ranges, so I'll increase that some and see if that fixes it 'til the next release. Thanks for your help! John
