TFRs Out of Date

TFRs Out of Date

I've seen this happen several times, most recently today. I downloaded the current TFRs, noting that they were dated this afternoon (not sure what time zone the times are for), and installed them. When the system came up after installation, everything was fine. When I booted the system in the plane an hour later, I got the "TFRs 24 hours out of date" message. I don't see how the TFRs could be 24 hours out of date when they were dated the afternoon of the day I was flying. Is this message displayed in error?

I'll check into this, sounds like a possible bug.

This hasn't happened again. However, today I turned on the unit after it had been idle for more than a week, and did not get the "TFRs 24 hours out of date" message, though they clearly were. So I'm not sure that this message (or its absence) is meaningful.

FWIW, this happened again today. I have version 5.15 installed. About 2 hrs after downloading and installing the TFRs, I started the iFly in my plane and got the "TFRs out of date" warning.

Hi Guys,

J C you did'nt say wether or not the TFR's actually got updated to your IFLY. Today I updated TFR's to my IFLY but they did not show up on my screen. TFR - FDC 1/8310 . I live in northern Cali. Has anyone else experienced this?
