Other than the obvious difference of screen size...is there ANY difference is operation of iFly iPad ap on the new mini compared to the ipad3 full size?
If so, is it significant?

Alex,

Other than size, there is no operational difference in the iFly GPS app for the Mini or the regular iPad. Really, the same is true for a 7" tablet or a 10" tablet on Android. Equal functionality is the goal.

With that said, there will be some UI changes when we introduce the iPhone version and possible a revised Android phone version, simply due to the smaller screen sizes and need for larger and less buttons. I hope this answers your question.

I have the iFly App on both a new Mini Retina, and an iPad 2 ----- no difference, and both work great!

Well the iPad 2 only work in portrait mode with no option to change it...

I understand the mini does rotate. For me it is not a factor as the 720 is my Main tool with the 'pad' as a backup.

edit: A fix for the rotation is coming.
