This is driving me crazy. Trying to get updates in my office, but the conneciton won't stay put. I have already removed the only other "pre" entry, which is my home connection, but every time I exit the setup and try "Update", I get the unable to access message.

Help!

Ed:

After re-trying a good dozen times, I finally got it working. Checked the router security and I had the correct passphrase all along, re-entered it about 10 times and it finally stayed connected. I have no clue as to what transpired. No changes were made to the WAN at this end... Updating now.

It's not password related or it wouldn't connect at all. Something else is going on.

Ed:

Nothing has changed since I upgraded to the 720; router is always in the same spot, about five feet away. Have no problems with laptops and printers running off it at a much further distance.

The 720 seems to be always hunting, even after it reports that it is connected; there were about five other SSIDs showing, all in locked status, but continuing to cycle(?). After the final connection was made yesterday, the download went well.

If there was a way to select and "lock" the conection I want to use, I believe this problem would go away.

No. It just quits trying to connect to server. The connection shows good at the setup page.
