I cannot access TAF's or Winds Aloft weather reports/forecasts on my 700. I was able to do this a few days ago and since then I updated the data card. Don't know if this had anything to do with it. I'm sure I must be doing something wrong but can't find out why.

I updated using iFly Connect. Turned on the unit after the update was complete. Tried to look at TAFs but could not find any.

I have iFly 700, version 7.5.20, landscape (normal) mode.

I also did
Menu
Find Nearest
Airport w/Weather
and got no response (nothing popped up).

I'm located in Falls Church, VA and should see the KDCA Reagan National TAFs.

I went to
Mode
Weather (Preflight) (I didn't have my Skyradar-L connected)
pushed on the screen for KDCA
Selected More Options
Weather Information
I can see the METARs, but got an error:

An unexpected error has occurred in esectional.exe
Select quit, .... etc.

Details:
OutOfMemoryException
at
iFly.Data.DataController.WeatherStationLocationGet(String code) at
--- with a lot to follow ----
ending in:
at
System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run(Form fm)
at Program.Main()

When I did the above earlier, I could see the METARs but there were no TAFs.

S Morgan,

This is a weather bug, we are working to correct this. Try doing an Update with iFly Connect and only selecting the Weather and TFR. I'm sorry for the delay in getting a response on your thread. You are posting correctly, though I'd recommend posting in the Beta Forum.

Also, keep in mind the Forum is not the preferred "Official" support communication method. Feel free to call us to report a Critical Bug or email support@adventurepilot.com, as this will ensure the fastest response.

Thanks for all your testing a feedback. Again, I'm sorry for the delay on this one. I think you'll agree we are generally very prompt on the forums.
