I was wondering if there was a reference that gives some details on what the nexrad images from ADS-B actually indicate, as coming from a skyradar receiver. In other words, what colors correspond to what dbz levels, and which descriptions (light, moderate, strong, etc.). I know not all systems use the same coding, and would like to know a bit more about it. As well, are the images composite, or base? Thanks.
