OK so I'm an idiot and not techno savy...I loaded the new 7 into my Ifly700 now it won't work.

so how do I get my old 6.? version back? also maybe BIG red warning to NOT do this for the 700 unit?

There actualy _is_ a big red (well, orange) warning at the top of the update page that reads:

Please note: When updating your iFly to the newly released version 7 software, you must select the Aviation Databases and Geographic Databases options. Version 7 software is not compatible with version 6.x or earlier databases. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our support department.

Try again while following those instructions, and you should find v7 works just dandy on your 700.

As Cobra mentions there is a V7 Procedure Note on the Website, however if you are using iFly Connect, there is not. The reasoning here is that iFly Connect recognized what is missing and automatically checks it. You would have to uncheck these required databases in order for it not to install. I'll speak with Walter about the possibility of adding V7 Update instructions to iFly Connect. I honestly don't know if that is possible, but worth looking into. I hope this helps.
