PA-22 & All ,

Heipfull info, but you still don't understand.

Aircraft cigs plug socket is fine &tests 12V.

Male plug at other end of Ifly700 cig adapter tests fine with 12V.

When I stick the male plug into the 700, nothing happens.

When I stick in the male plug from the Ifly700 battery cable, everything is fine.

What the heck?

I'm ok with hard wiring it, but thought I'd for once comply with FAA regs & make this install by the book...ie. totally removable.

So, why doesn't the cigg adapter make contact?

Dave:
One thing you have not mentioned. Have you tried plugging the iFly cig plug into your car/van/truck's hot socket and the other end into the iFly? Does the iFly work in your car's socket with the key turned on? ===Ralph
