Hey, Brolin, do those 740b's have the same shiny screen as the 740's? (Matte finish would be very nice.) And do they draw the same power?

Still shiny, but you can get a screen sticker (i'm sure there's a better term for that somehwhere) and make it matte. 

Yes, same on everything, except slight screen differences that aren't visible to the eye.

Thanks, Brolin. I tried a matte screen thing--two different ones, in fact--but decided the stock surface is better in my case. It still reflects my bony knees or khaki pants, but I've learned to move them when I need to see an area that's reflecting them. It's a workaround--but maybe I'll paint my knees matte black some sunny day and see how that works.
