Why is the shown time two hours off? I am in central time. Also I have downloaded the new version and added weather. When I first put it in my iFly it showed winds aloft but has not on the past two flights. It says they are not available.

I've also found that my unit keeps going back to standard time despite the daylight savings time I set it for. Its a bit of a pain as sometimes you don't know that its changed on you.

I found that my unit went to Pacific time (I'm in the northeast), either after the update to v.6 OR after adding Streets. The first time I used Streets, it wanted to start in San Francisco, therefore my suspicion. Reset the time zone and all is well.

I am surprised that the unit did not pick the right time zone based on GPS signals...

The iFly does'nt automatically pull in the time zone. This is something we are looking into. An OS flash will sometimes cause the time zone and some setting to reset. Sounds like this is what the case is since you had just updated to V6 and the iFly Streets SD is a fresh SD card, so you user setting would not be on there. You could copy and tranfer the user folder from the old SD card, but it sounds like you already adressed by setting it.

Downloaded weather data such as METARs and Winds Aloft are only shown for about 6 hours. Much after that, it is too dated. TAF are shown for longer, 24 hours. Once all weather data is out of date, it is no longer displayed. You wouldn't want to look at weather data, winds that are way out of date. It's best to download "PreFlight" weather just prior or within a few hours of display. Hope this explains it some.
