Thanks, Mike. To be clear, I am NOT trying to connect the Sky Radar to the iFly via wifi. I am having trouble getting the Sky Radar to connect to the iFly via USB, and since there is no documentation and little health and status insight into the Sky Radar, I am looking for alternate cues to confirm its health or sickness. Just thought someone else with one of these devices might have noticed that its wifi signal was visible on their laptop or home network or something, even if it wasn't connecting to anything that way.

I don't see the Sky Radar's wifi signal, but if I'm supposed to be able to, then that's an indication it might not be functioning properly.

I'll call customer support on Monday. Just thought I might be able to get some useful feedback from other Sky Radar users over the weekend in the meantime.

Thanks,
Jim

Thanks for the trailblazing, Cobra. There's going to be a lot of the group buy SkyRadars hitting other iFly owners via FedEx Ground starting tomorrow so your questions are timely and important. Just the fact that last week Radena sold 15 or more units to iFly owners like me should iron out any nuances in the interface since it's now legitimate and fully supported by Adventure Pilot. Having early adopters is what fuels innovation.

Note: I just updated my original post with additional information learned this morning re: a missing USB driver.

Cobra,

Was the missing USB driver in the SkyRadar package or did you need to locate it elsewhere?

Richard

The USB driver should be part of the WindowsCE OS load that the iFly runs on. Ed Moore at Adventure Pilot said the latest OS version for the iFly is 2.0.4, but I have an older unit and am currently running 2.0.0. As I mentioned in "UPDATE 2" to my first post in this thread, AP's shipping me an OS update on an SD card, and they expect that to resolve my issue. I should get it in a couple of days and will report back.
