In the manual it lists a number of options under the "settings" menu (Menu:More:Settings).

Specifically, the manual lists a "Green Routing" button that allows you to input various parameters for your particular car such as gas consumption (urban & rural), gas price, etc. My "Settings" menu does not include this button. It does include a button not listed in the manual called "Driving Time Management" lets you set a number of timers such as max continuous driving time, break times, max. daily driving time, etc. - useful stuff if you are a commercial driver or on a cross country drive, not so much for a typical driver.

The "Green Routing" button would be much more useful... Especially since the "Green Alternative" option on other menus probably is moot without "green" data.

The rest of the Settings menu agrees with each other.

What is the story?

Other than this anomaly, I am thrilled with the Streets function!

Thanks for the info. I did see the page for choosing the route planning method, but didn't think to select the "more" button before choosing the method.

When one gets to the last screen you list, it does allow you to make entries by choosing the menu item and entering the values for your vehicle. Unfortunately, this doesn't actually accomplish anything as the values seem to be stuck at 29 and 36 mpg.

Those settings are changed for the DEFAULT CAR, which is in there as well.

Aha! I see now. The default car is unchangeable! One has to add a car (or more) and set the consumptions there.

This has more options than I am used to with my other auto GPSs.

Thanks for the help!
