Do you have to turn the Stratux WiFi unit on and use it to transfer data or can you go directly from device to device?

In my case Stratux WiFi provided the network for the devices to communicate.

The two devices must be connected to a common WIFI source. If one of the devices has a hot spot feature, it can act as the WIFI source.

Great info. Thx I will give this a try as it will keep me from having to manually program both 720s before each flight.
