Migrate User Settings from 720 to 740

Is it possible to migrate my user settings from the 720 to the 740?

Yes. All your your personal settings, flight plans, flight history, instrument layouts, custom waypoints, etc, are in the \User folder on your SD card. You simply need to copy this folder from your 720 SD card to your 740.

By the way:
The method Walter suggests also moves the records of your previous flights.

A minor thought:
If you're selling your old iFly or giving it away you might want to delete the flight logs from it.
probably not a big privacy issue, but potentially COULD be.
And a bit of a courtesy to the next owner to not have your old trips in there.
