Yesterday I installed the latest software version to my Ifly720 prior to a trip. Overall I like the changes which make some screen functions easier to see and the buttons easier to see and use. However, I was unable to locate the skyguard control panel and was unable to access any weather data through the skyguard unit. Also, I have an ongoing problem with the screen display "jumping" locations for a few seconds from time to time while in the navigation mode. During these "jumping" moments the fix quality remains high. The jumping seems to occur only when the Skyguard unit is operating.

Also like the new look, LOVE the addition of the waypoint identifiers!!! A huge thank you. A couple of questions:

1) How do I get the Clock back? It's gone.

2) How do I get rid of the vertical profile at the bottom; I have searched all the menus.

After the update, please make sure you are still only connected to the Vision-Pro via Wi-Fi. No other "PRE" networks in the list of available networks. Then make sure you have SkyGuardTWX Transceiver selected as the Wi-Fi Device in the Connected Devices. Touch Menu -> About -> Connected Devices -> Wi-Fi Device... to make sure.

This would keep you from seeing the SkyGuardTWX ADS-B Control Panel... I suspect you were not connected to the SkyGuard as the "Fix Quality" should only be reading ADS-B w/ one green bar and a possible WAAS. If you were seeing 3-4 bars, your GPS was not coming from the ADS-B and that indicates it was not connected to the iFly 720, either by Wi-Fi or via the Connected Device software.

I'd double check these settings anytime after a major software update. While we aim to retain these settings, sometimes they are lost in the update. I hope this helps.

Never mind; I finally figured it out; you have to work from the Instrument set-up screen.

Great stuff!

Thanks for the help. I did check that the Shyguard was listed, and the fix quality was indicating steady ADS-B WAAS reception with one green bar. Also, I was receiving ADS-B traffic information. I just installed software v8.2.43 and will see if that made a difference on my next flight.
