I would like to keep a spare iFly720 SD card at the house for updates, and then exchange them the next time I go to the plane. If I am not interested in having "Streets" on the iFly, can I use any (high quality) 8GB or larger SD card for the update?

Ron,

Yes, any high quality SD card should work. We hihgly recommend Sandisk, however Lexar and Sony have worked as well. I'd stay away from PNY or Patriot.

Copy the entire contents from your original SD card to the new blank SD card. This will copy the license, setting and logs over as well. They you will be able to run an update on both cards and rotate them. I hope this helps.
