I just noticed something about my iFly 700 that I had not noticed previously. I just downloaded updates to my iFly and I noticed that the date and currency of the weather and TFR data was weeks old. The date shown was May 24th at 01:39Z. Is there something that I need to do to get the current weather other than downloading the updates from the website?

Did your update include stepping up to the latest software?

If so, then the weather and TFR data does not get updated at the same time. Seems a little strange, but it's been that way for years now.

The workaround, at least, is simple: If you ever perform an update that includes new system software, then immediately perform one more update to get the latest Wx & TFRs.

Cobra,

I updated the latest software version a couple or so weeks ago prior to my trip to Oshkosh last week. I just happened to do another update of weather and some sectionals sitting at home after the trip and I noticed the date then. I don't know if it just happened that time of if it's been that way all the time. I'll try it again later today. Thanks.

Sam
