How do I get updates on no fly zone such as West, Texas because of explosion?

Steve - I would call FSS and ask for NOTAM's and TFR's. - Jim williams

The iFly will download TFR information that's available at the time of download when you select "Weather and TFRs" on the update page.

But Jim_W's right: The best method is to call 1-800-WX-BRIEF on the ground prior to flight, and/or FSS in the air and ask for TFRs along your route of flight.

Maintaining ATC contact via Flight Following is also helpful. As workload permits, they'll make sure you're aware of / don't fly into TFRs (or active MOAs, or Restricted areas, etc.).
