Garmin GDL support?

Hello..

I am new to iflygps and am a student pilot. My instructor's training plane uses a Garmin GDL 50 for ADS-B. I like using iflygps, but don't see the Garmin GDL as supported devices. Does anyone know or can confirm if iflygps supports the Garmin ADS-B products? I really don't want to have to go with Garmin or Foreflight if I don't have too.

Pretty sure GDL50 doesn't work with iFly. As a rule, Garmin does not play well with others...they want you to use only Garmin or Garmin-affiliated products.

But someone from Adventure Pilot (iFly) should be along soon to provide an official answer for you.

The Garmin. GDL only plays with Garmin. At least that is. What I found with my Garmin GDL39.
