Hi, please excuse me if this has been handled before, but I did not find any answers after searching the forum.

I am a new user of iFly GPS, and installed it on a new Asus Zenpad 3S 10 tablet.

My problem is that after placing my first timer in an inconvenient area of the screen, I am not able to delete it from the screen.  Although the system acknowledged its removal, the icon is still present.  I cannot get the screen to refresh and remove the icon.  As a matter of fact, clicking on the icon brings up the "Tap 'Add Timer' to create your first timer" box.  When I try to re-add the timer it defaults to the position he original was in, and does not allow me to move it.  I have both restarted and rebooted the tablet without any change.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Roger

I just tested this myself to confirm it's working as designed.  To make sure you are doing this the same here are the instructions.

1. tap "Instr Group" button then "Customize..."
2. Then tap the Timer #1 instrument on your screen, and it highlights with red border.  Then select "Delete Instrument" from mini-form.
3. Then "Save"=> "Current", and it should be gone.

If it's not gone, there must be some exception/error happening beneath the covers.   So please do "Menu => ABout => Send Bug Report"  right after duplicating this bug of failing to remove, and I'll have a look at it.

Brian, thank you!  It was removed as per your directions.  I was doing all of this from the "setup" button and not the Inst Group as you described.  Apparently, your way is the only way to remove and redo the timers.

Thanks again for your quick reply!

Roger

You can do it from the setup button also.  After it's highlighted in red, click delete, then save.
