Chuck - iFly works just fine on my $30 LG Rebel phone. This is my fourth LG phone. Only the last two have been real smart phones, and both of these phones have run iFly GPS. I hope that LG gets its act together before I buy my next phone! Thank you for the warning. - Jim Williams

It's just a small (but critical bug) in the LG firmware, it seems. And the next 9.8 release (due out Monday, currently) will remedy this. So no more worries about it.

Chuck, it is in production now. Please make sure you have the latest version. If it's still not working for you, then we have a different issue to try and chase.

Walter, I am using v 9.8.7. Same problem. No GPS position lock (it briefly gets a lock but quickly loses it and stays lost). All other GPS functions on phone work and all other iFly features work (chart updating, Nexrad, WX, etc).

I sent 2 bug reports. The first was prior to the brief GPS position lock, the second was after.
