This thing is working great on my Surface Pro 4. The only problem is I get 5 minutes at a time. I plugged my old BU-353 USB GPS into the Surface and it works perfectly. I'll call Monday and get the multi-platform added and be good to go.

OldPilot, you are correct in assessing that Beta versions of iFly do not permit you to make in-app purchases (this is a store limitation, not ours). I hope you have luck with this just as others seem to be having.

Also, I just gave you a temporary multi-device upgrade for the next 5 days, since our office is closed Monday, and you are one of our beloved Beta testers, so that you can commence with your testing. :)

You'll note from when I started this post that I've been using iFly on an Android VM (Duos and Bluestacks) for well over a year. I've only run into two issues and the both relate to Wifi connectivity:

* Will not connect to my Skyguard box in either VM

* Share flightplan only works with Bluestacks and only one-way (can't remember which)

Neither of these features affect my usage and are minor inconviences (for me). I fully understand that AP doesn't support my configurations and do not expect them to figure out the issue. I'm on Windows 8.1 and it's possible the issues could go away when I finally upgrade to Win 10.

Thanks Brian. Seems to be working great on my Surface Pro 4. I just downloaded 8 states, VFR and IFR. Very quick. My Surface has I5 processor and 16 gigs of ram. Next step is to try SkyGuard and Stratux. The BU-353 gps worked as soon as I plugged it in. I'm running Windows 10 on this device.

OK, I can't connect to my SkyGuard or Stratux. Come to find out, my GPS does not work either, not even with street navigation apps. . I think I need to find some software for the BU-343 GPS. In the end, this may be more trouble than it's worth.
