Will not update

I got a message about the AZ charts beign outdated. I have repeatedly tried to update, but I get:

Failed Download

Attempts to download Database Manifest have timed out. Please verify your Internet connection, and try again.

I am definitely connected to the internet (verified by browsing the web) and have switched between 5G, 2.4G, and back to 5G. Nada. Earlier I thought I was getting somewhere a I got a different message. Something about it getting the update together, please wait. But now back to no internet.

In app: Menu | Check for updates.... fail.

Huh. Just after I sent the reply, it "connected" (even though it (the device) already was, and began the download. Very strange.

I just adopt the theory that these devices are "living beings", and since you tattled on it, it decided to start working before it got itself into deeper trouble for misbehaving. I think this theory explains a lot of nuances.

Please let me know if your device misbehaves again, and if so, I'm going to have to have a stern tough-love talk with it.
