Does not work on my Windows 10 laptop either.

Most likely something is blocking UDP multicast if you're connected and not getting Heartbeats on the ADSB Status page. Check for security apps and firewalls running on the device and try disabling them to see if it starts working.

Shawn:

I have resolved the issue and now can get Stratus to work on my Android NOTE 9 and my Android tablets. I am impressed with this little unit.

The problem was that under battery management there are three options for extending battery life. OFF...MID...MAX. I had it set to MID and that was doing something to prevent IFLY from connecting to the Stratus inputs.

I will be using the Stratux unit as my ADSB IN insteAD OF THE Uavionix receiver. Stratux provides all the same info as Uavionix plus makes my IFLY Synthetic Vision stable.

Thanks to all for suggestions.

Thanks for following up. Another Samsung quirk to add to the list.

I tried the Stratus and have now returned it to A/C Spruce for a refund.

My Uavionix provides targets, but the Synthetic Vision on IFLY was not stable so I wanted the use of AHRS on the Stratux.

The unit stopped working after about 1 week. I was told I would need to reflash the chip. I tried that several times with no success until I found that the chip itself was defective. I replaced it with an SD chip of my own and it finally did reflash and the Stratux worked once more.

However, I found that I had to continually recalibrate the AHRS during a given flight. The artificial horizon would tilt a bit left or right and shift the horizon. It was stable, but not accurate.

I wanted a good stable synthetic vision just in case of an engine failure over an undercast. I have had enough instrument training to keep the aircraft stable through the clouds, but I wanted to be able to "see" what was below on the way down.

At least IFLY will show if I am coming down toward high terrain.
