An AHRS dongle for a tablet? Wouldn't that show strange behavior as it flops around/you move your tablet around?

The Stratus 3 was going to be my plan, although while Appareo adopted the GDL interface option enabling Stratus 3 use with apps like iFly, it appears the required interface app ( Horizon Pro)
is only available for iPad? So Stratus 3 can't be used with iFly GPS on Android, is that correct?
Thanks,
Jim

Other iFly users are using Stratus 3 successfully, but there is a setting that needs to be changed first, and I have seen people discuss two ways to do that--one is iOS-ony (via the Horizon Pro app you mention), but the other involves an app that is available in Android.  Perhaps someone here will confirm that they have successfully used that method, or another that works on Android.

Here is a post with more detail:  http://www.iflygps.com/Support/Forum/...ope/posts#34528

Stratus3 support is included on all platforms that can connect to it via Wifi.   You will need to make sure it's not in ForeFlight-Only mode though, which is the same procedure for all platforms.

EDIT: Correction, the Appareo app used to set the Stratus3 back to "non-FF-mode" itself is iOS only -- so you'll need an iOS device to "fix" the Stratus3 if it's in the FF mode, but once fixed, you should be able to use iFly on any Wifi-enabled device to connect with it.
