Just now downloaded the update for my Windows 10 laptop that has the sketch feature. There is no jerkiness. So it looks like the problem is with some Android tablets only.

I have seen it on Galaxy Tab A and Tab S and LG G Pad. 

A friend has IFLY on his Apple tablet and phone with no issues. My NOTE 9 Samsung phone has no issues. So we are narrowing it down.

It's got to be related to processor speed or amount of RAM.  Probably the amount of RAM allocated to video.

Brian also mentioned that it could be impacted by SDcard read speed.  Neither your iPad nor your Nexus7 (2013) has an SDcard, so if that's what's causing the issue, it would explain why you're immune to it.

I would not try to run iFly from an SD Card.

Cobra:

Moved all IFLY data from SD card to internal memory with 2.9 GB free on my tablet. This had no effect on the pan jerkiness.
