I have an android tablet that does not have GPS. Does/can ifly get a GPS position from the ads600b via WiFi?

Ifly can get gps position from connected device if that device has a GPS receiver.

Even on tablets? Just want to make sure before I install and buy the subscription. . I know it does it on my 740. There are some other android aviation apps that require a separate application to receive the adsb and location info from outside connections.

Yes. I have a SkyGuard ADS-B transceiver I use with Android and IOS tablets. They both have internal GPS, but I can also use the SkyGuard GPS. They do not require the GPS helper app. iFly also works when I use my Stratux ADS-B receiver with a GPS puck plugged into the Stratux. Again, the GPS helper app is not required.

Thanks OldPilot. I concur with your assessment here. This should work fine, but this is not a guarantee, since for some users and devices, there can be issues that cause it to fail (but those conditions are varied and rare, and usually resolvable).
