I have noticed that the "Class" of airspace for Class D is missing the "D".

Others seem OK, and I can figure it out from the description (Surface to xxxx) but I feel it should be fixed.

Class D is not labeled as class D on FAA charts. It's depicted with blue airport (control tower) and dashed circle and the top shown in MSL.

In light of the fact that the word "Class" appears in the dialog box, I do not see that as a valid logic...

If the sole purpose of iFly was to merely reproduce a Paper Map, then there would be no reason to have iFly in the first place...

Improvement is the purpose, not duplication

I disagree. IFly GPS is constantly improving the functionality of the app. However, I don't see any reason for them to reinvent the charting process. Class D is the old airport control zone. It is not labeled class D and there is no reason to do so. Do they label class A, E, or G?

Are you running iFly GPS on an iPad? My iPad mini showes class "D", "B" and "C" for airports under the i Airspace Information. It has all the altitute information also. TFR are also shown as TFR with the details.
