You prob have already eliminated this BUT, all serial cables are not "created equally". Might try with another serial cable since sounds like you ve already double checked everything else.

Martin,

What is the GPS source?   Is it some type of ADSB Out/WAAS GPS?  Or is it a standalone GPS device?  Tell us again how the GPS source connects to the iflyGPS 740b tablet and the Dynon. Are those connections WIFI or hard wired?    Are the 740b tablet and Dynon connected?  If so, it it WIFI or hardwired?

Steve

Also try on the ground entering simulation mode (Menu -> About -> Start Simulation Mode -> Show Simulation Controls).  Then put some forward speed (and climb so you don't irritate yourself with terrain alerts).  This will also simulate pushing data through NMEA.

Yes I have tried another cable. Still have the same breakout board but it seems to be fine.

The GPS source is the IFLY external GPS that is hard wired to the 740. The GPS out source is through a USB cable with an RS232 end that goes into a break out board. AS per IFLY instructions. The GPS is working as I get four bars on the IFLY. But is it transmitteing this to the out source ?
